Human Herpes Virus 7 and 8- HHV7 and HHV8


By the age of 4 all children are infected with HHV7. The virus is transmitted via saliva and semen and other bodily secretion. HHV8 is also known as Karposi's Sarcoma and is associated with HIV infection.
Overall these virus infections become more prevalent when the bodies immune system becomes weaker which allows the virus to replicate and spread.
